Shepherd's Way Farms CSA

What is a CSA?
A CSA is a relationship of mutual support and commitment between local farmers and community members who pay the farmer an annual membership fee to help cover production costs of the farm. In return, members receive a regular share of the production – for Shepherd’s Way Farms members, this is a share of local artisan cheese.

CSAs around the country are helping connect people to their food, creating relationships between farmers and individuals. As a CSA member you will be enjoying regular deliveries of award winning artisan cheese while helping support diversity, sustainability, and small scale innovation in farming. Your food choices are helping shape the future or our food systems.

What do you get?
Shepherd’s Way Farms members will receive a monthly cheese share made up of an assortment – usually 4 - 6 pieces – of Shepherd’s Way Farms cheeses totaling one and a half pounds. Members also have unique opportunities to try new Shepherd’s Way products and receive invitations to special member events at the farm.

Cheese Pick Up
Cheese shares will be delivered the third Saturday of each month. Shares can be picked up at various locations in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Northfield, including Mill City Farmers Market, Lucia’s, Golden Fig and Just Food Co-op. Visit our website or email for a current list of pick up points. Your CSA subscription can begin at any time of the year.

Golden Fig on Grand Avenue third Tuesday 3-6 pm.
Golden's Deli in Lowertown Saint Paul third Saturday 9 am - 1 pm.

Minneapolis
Birchwood Cafe third Thursday, 3-6 pm.
Lucia's Wine Bar third Thursday 3-6 pm.
Indoor Farmers Market at Local D'Lish warehouse district third Saturday 10 am - 2 pm.

Northfield
Third Thursday 4-7 pm or Saturday 10 am- 1 pm.

Please note, if shares are not picked up by end time the cheese will be donated. If you know that you will be away, please arrange to have somebody pick up your share. Please call us with any questions about pick-up!

If you would like to give a CSA share as a gift, please email or mail the downloadable form and fill it out for the recipient. Please include your (the sender) information and payment details. Gift shares received in December will begin in January. We will not contact your gift recipient until January.
