Shepherd’s Way Farms openly shares expertise and experience, inviting others to learn onsite and reaching out to the global community. Accessible and involved in the sustainable farming, local foods, and general communities, Jodi and Steven teach and lead in many arenas.
Shepherd’s Way has hosted thousands of visitors to the farm, educating and promoting sustainable agriculture, land stewardship, local foods and breed conservancy. Visiting groups have represented academics, national adult educators, farmers, international dairy shepherds, heritage preservation supporters, school children, women’s organizations, sustainable farming associations, cheesemakers, tours organized by local retail stores, natural food cooperative members and international visitors from six continents.
